Casey is a Licensed Veterinary Technician that graduated from MSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and a Certificate in Veterinary Tech. She has a passion for helping and educating clients and providing exceptional care and compassion to all animals as if they were her own. Casey and her husband Warren currently share their house with an easy going boxer mix named Hank, Buddy a typical beagle, and head of the house Yoda the cat.
Melissa moved to Michigan from her home state of Pennsylvania to attend college at Michigan State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Veterinary Technology. Melissa’s love for pets is evident with her two dogs, Theo and Archie as well as her cats, Crunk and Chuey. She exudes a calm, serene sort of caring that is a special benefit in dealing with animals – but don’t let Melissa’s quiet demeanor fool you. In her spare time she enjoys training with the Traverse City Roller Derby for the Cherry Bombs. In fact, in 2013 she was voted MVP multiple times. In other words, she’s a “Bad Mamma Jamma”! (If you don’t know derby, that’s a bit of a pun, because the position Melissa most often plays is called a Jammer.)
Lindsey comes to us from the Grand Rapids area and she is very happy to be living in TC! She has about a decade of experience and earned her Veterinary Technicians License from Baker College. Lindsey joined our practice with an interest in Integrative Therapies and her drive to be among others who are involved in offering comprehensive care. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities like canoeing, horseback riding, and hiking as well as exploring all of what beautiful Northern Michigan has to offer. Lindsey and her fiancée have two cats, Memphis and Malakai to make their lives interesting. We welcome Lindsey’s outgoing nature and wonderful spirit, and we are certain our clients will too!
Michelle joined the team at Companion Animal Hospital as a receptionist in 2009 and is currently our Lead Receptionist. She has been working with animals since 2004, and has spent her whole life with pets as members of her family. She currently has several furry family members including three pugs: Kaiser, Reuben and Sushi, as well as two chinchillas, Diego and Miguel. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, bird watching and being outdoors with her husband, Jason, and “the pug pack”, especially hiking and kayaking – and yes – the pugs kayak too!
Brittany – I have been interested in Veterinary Medicine ever since I can remember. My junior year of High School I went to Bay Arenac ISD Career Tech Center, it was there that I discovered that being a Veterinary Technician was the route I wanted to go. I was accepted in to Baker College of Cadillac to begin my schooling to get my degree, the school year of 2015-2016 I made the Dean’s List. I started here at Companion Animal Hospital on May 3, 2016 as a receptionist, and hope to continue to expand my knowledge in the veterinary field at this clinic.
Jeni began as Lead Receptionist in April of 2013 (the very day of our 11th Anniversary, in fact). Jeni boasts a background of nearly 20 years in Marketing and Communications, a strong knack for organization and a wackiness our office enjoys daily (she’s been skipping down the back hall). She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and three cats Calvin, Maverick and Toby. Jeni recently moved to Northern Michigan from downstate and loves exploring the area and gardening. Jeni’s creativity and experience is expected to bring exciting new forms of communication to our clients along with plenty of smiles at the reception desk. Jeni has moved back downstate but through the powers of technology she is still part of our team.
Kristin and her family moved to Traverse City from Maine for the United States Coast Guard. She brings to our team a veterinary passion of over 16 years experience ranging from kennel assistant to head receptionist. When something goes wrong with the software or computers you hear her name being called. Kristin enjoys fishing and boating with her husband Josh and two children Emma and Ethan. Her furry friends have ranged from dogs and rats to currently one dog Autumn, a pitbull mix, Luna and Bear, a silly brother and sister cat combo, six chickens and a house bunny. Like Jeni she is still part of the Companion Animal Hospital team working remotely from where the US Coast Guard sends her and her family, which currently happens to be back in Maine.
Terry Seymour is Companion Animal Hospital’s practice manager. For over 35 years Terry has been a part of veterinary medicine. He is a life long animal lover. Even through Terry’s fairly severe allergies, they have always had very special pets. Sally and Pita, their Golden Retrievers are currently holding the fort down in their household. After a successful sales and management career in another field Terry joined Companion Animal Hospital in 2003. We all look forward to seeing you and your pets and welcoming you into our practice!
Since Dr. Lynch's return to practice, my Senior dog's problem of many years has improved tremendously with VOM, Acupuncture/Acupressure and Chinese herbs. Dr. Lynch's ability to assess the symptoms and zero in on an effective treatment was remarkable. I am thrilled to have these alternative veterinary services available in Traverse City.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lynch for treatment. The acupuncture treatments that he has done for my cat, Maxx, have done a world of good. It has made a huge difference and the effects from the treatments have been immediate for Maxx. It is so nice to have this treatment option available.

We have been taking our two cats and one dog to Dr. Izo for many years. She is an excellent, caring and down to earth person, who is a remarkable at what she does and the care she provides. The entire staff at CAHTC is great to deal with and they truly have your pet's best interest at heart.

Thanks to the entire staff of Companion Animal Hospital for tirelessly working with me to assist my dog with her fear of nail cutting! She is now able to have this procedure without any fears or resistance! Additionally the wellness care and the sincere interest in her from the staff is so nice. Always pleasant and professional the Doctors and staff are above average. I recommend this Animal Hospital to all my friends and co-workers and many now use them with the same satisfaction.
