Here’s a little snapshot of what to expect at your first visit…
When you first come in you and your pet(s) will be welcomed by our receptionist. We will do everything we can to make you and your pet(s) comfortable and at home! Please plan to be at the hospital 15 to 20 minutes before the appointment time of your first appointment. This will allow us both time to get through the normal paperwork and the normal questions and answers.
We offer many different ways to communicate for appointment reminders, vaccine reminders or general communication. We can e-mail, text, call or mail. We will ask your preference during this appointment. We can change these preferences at any time you wish. We will also ask you to provide us with your current contact information at this time.
What to bring with you:
To get started, we need to build your pet’s record. Please bring:
What else to expect:
At the first appointment we will take your pet’s photo for his/her patient record. We do this periodically throughout your pet’s life and/or as medical conditions change.
Whether your appointment is for a new puppy/kitten exam, a wellness exam, or due to illness, plan on spending about 45 minutes with the Doctor. It is very important that we get to know you and your pet(s) and you get to know us!
After your appointment you will be given a tour of our hospital and meet all of our entire staff. They all enjoy meeting and getting to know our new clients and patients.
Thank you for choosing Companion Animal Hospital. We look forward to meeting you and your family.
